What information does ​​TestoChecker® collect & store?

While you visit our site, we’ll track:

  • Products you’ve viewed: we use this to show you products you’ve recently viewed.
  • Shipping address. Should you purchase a test kit (only).
  • We also use cookies to keep track of cart contents but only while you’re browsing our website.

Account erasure and personal data deletion

How long does ​​TestoChecker® retain Your Data?

​​TestoChecker® retains various information collected for different purposes. The ‘retention-span” varies depending on type:

  • Website contact form entries for 2 months.
  • Search engine analytics records for 1 year.
  • Customer purchase records for 10 years. (Unless requested otherwise)

For users that select to register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (they cannot change their username).


What we share with others

We share information with the laboratory doing the analysis which will use this information to create a user profile. The information is required, and is used by the laboratory to incorporate  corresponding comparison charts and graphs [‘age’ and ‘gender’] into the test results. There are no other instances of perosnal details (data) of our clients being shared unless specifically requested in writing by the Client themselves, to GP or other. [corrected 04.01.2022]


What data breach procedures do we have in place?

In accordance with HIPAA the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, 1996, privacy and release restrictions ​​TestoChecker® is obligated to self report data breaches, either potential or real. Including internal reporting systems, contact mechanisms or other.

HIPAA Included Functionality

TestoChecker uses Google Workspace developed by Google LLC™ for;

  1. Email
  2. Secure data storage (minimized)

In addition to this, a Google API is called when clients want to check their T-Levels using the testosterone tracking, Tracker_T™ App.

These functionality applications and the content they contain is protected by Google’s highly advanced and ever evolving data security software, also know as a ‘firewall’.

Google LLC™ do not store payment information or associated payment details on behalf of TestoChecker® Hormone Test Kits.


Industry regulatory disclosure requirements

​​TestoChecker® Hormone Test Kits complies with HIPAA (The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, 1996) privacy and release restrictions. Only relevant information is requested with your order. All information collected, encrypted and stored is for the sole purpose of delivering our service. None of your information will be shared with a third party without your express written permission.

The law requires ​​TestoChecker® to notify you in the unlikely event ​​TestoChecker® plans to share your information with any additional third party.


Related Policies

We collect information about you during the checkout process on our website store. Only relevant information is requested with your order. All information collected and stored is for the sole purpose of delivering our service. None of your information will be shared with a third party without your express written authorization.


Who on our Team has access to restricted private data?

As of May, 2021, a total of 3 members of the ​​TestoChecker® team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access:

  • Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and
  • Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.

The three team members have access to this information to help fulfil orders, process refunds and support you.


Privacy in relation to Payments

We accept payments through a PayPal™ Payment Gateway API. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal™, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.

​​TestoChecker® website Blog does not have comment functionality enabled so we won’t be highlighting our responsibility with regard to comments.

When a purchase is made on this website, information entered by the buyer is stored, and also sent to the Administration Team via WordPress ‘Contact Form 7’ (software plugin). Contact Form 7 is a standard plugin used by millions of websites and includes in-built security attributes designed to protect the information being transmitted. As of May 2021, we have encountered zero system failure or compromise of the integrity of the Contact Form 7 application.
