Test Method


This test is performed by ​​NutriPATH using the ELISA™ model. This profile is designed to assay specific IgG (subclasses 1, 2, 3, 4) and IgA (subclasses 1, 2) antibodies.

The classification of 0 to IV denotes the level of IgG and/or IgA antibodies detected through spectrophotometric analysis. The antigens on the panel are subject to change without prior notice.

Simple 3 Step Process


  1.  Purchase test. Sent via Express Post same day Mon-Fri, <5PM AEST. Tracking number available on request.
  2.  Perform simple saliva sample collection as per instruction provided.
  3.  Post the sample and included referral form back to the lab using the included satchel.

Test results are emailed in secure .PDF format after approximately 7 business days.

Please note: When doing an IgG test, it is recommended to eat a large variety of foods in the two weeks prior to testing. Include as many of the foods that are being tested in the specific allergy panel you have chosen. If foods are not included in the diet during this time, a false negative result may be obtained. Recent exposure to these foods may be required for antibodies to be present in the blood.
